Назва проєкту походить від ouranophobia — страху неба. Числа — поштові індекси: 47051 для Дуйсбурга; 03127 для Павільйону культури.
Ouranophobia 03127 продовжує інсталяцію Захеді для Manifesta 16 Ruhr, яка експонується в Kulturkirche Liebfrauenkirche у Дуйсбурзі до 4 жовтня. В її основі — орган із труб непрацюючих інструментів, зібраних з усієї Європи, що живить єдиний повітродув.
Серед труб — елементи органа «Рігер-Клосс» київського костелу, пошкодженого пожежею 2021 року. Їх надано для інсталяції Національним будинком органної та камерної музики, і їх мають повернути взимку 2027 року. Натомість 20 серпня до Києва повернеться їхній звук — уповільнений, з реверберацією та поєднаний у звукову композицію, що відтворює звуковий архів художника, присвячений скорботі. Акустика нового органу протиставляється знайденим записам київського інструмента, зробленим до пожежі, а також попереднім роботам Захеді.
У день події в Павільйоні культури прослухати звукову інсталяцію та долучитися до онлайн-розмови художника з креативним медіатором медіатором Manifesta 16 Ruhr, Майклом Курцом. Також будуть доступні друковані матеріали до Ouranophobia 47051, присвячені дослідженням Захеді у філософії звуку.

On 20 August, Abbas Zahedi will present Ouranophobia 03127 at the Pavilion of Culture as part of the public programme of Manifesta 16 Ruhr, taking place across 12 churches in Duisburg, Essen, Gelsenkirchen and Bochum.
The title comes from ouranophobia — the fear of the sky. The numbers are postal codes: 47051 for Duisburg; 03127 for the Pavilion of Culture.
Ouranophobia 03127 responds to Zahedi’s installation for Manifesta 16, on view at Kulturkirche Liebfrauenkirche in Duisburg until 4 October. Its organ is built from pipes salvaged from disused instruments across Europe and powered by a single blower.
Among them are pipes from the Rieger-Kloss organ of St Nicholas Church in Kyiv, damaged by fire in 2021. Lent by the National House of Music, they are due to return to Kyiv in winter 2027. On 20 August, their sound returns to Kyiv — slowed down, reverberated and woven into Zahedi’s “sonic archive” of grief, alongside found recordings of the Kyiv organ made before the fire and works from his previous installations.
The listening session continues Zahedi’s “support groups” format, in which listeners gather around the organ rather than facing it, sharing time, listening and attention.
Visitors can also join an online conversation between Zahedi and Michael Kurtz, Creative Mediator at Manifesta 16 Ruhr, and explore printed materials related to Zahedi’s research into the philosophy of sound.
